This guide explains how an Administrator<\/strong> can reset a user’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).<\/p>\n

If a user loses access to their Google Authenticator app or their smartphone, they should contact their company’s\u00a0Administrator<\/strong> to request a 2FA reset.<\/p>\n

Steps to Reset a User’s 2FA<\/h2>\n

  1. Log in to PEER<\/strong> using an Administrator<\/strong> account.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to User Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Locate the user whose 2FA needs to be reset.<\/li>\n
  4. Click the three-dot (\u22ee) menu<\/strong> next to the user’s name, then select Reset 2FA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. When the confirmation dialog appears, click Yes<\/strong> to confirm the reset.<\/li>\n
  6. Once the reset is successful, the 2FA<\/strong> indicator next to the user’s name will be cleared, indicating that Two-Factor Authentication has been removed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Next Steps for the User<\/h2>\n

    After the administrator resets the user’s 2FA, the user must sign in to app again and complete the Two-Factor Authentication setup process by registering a new authenticator.<\/p>\n
