Training Material: Setting Up PTW in Project Setup<\/p>\n

Introduction<\/p>\n

This guide will help you navigate through the process of setting up a Permit to Work (PTW) in your project using the Project Setup menu. Follow the steps carefully to ensure all necessary forms and dependencies are correctly configured.<\/p>\n

Steps to Set Up PTW<\/p>\n

  1. Access the Project Setup Menu<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Navigate to the Project Setup menu from your dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Choose the PTW Section and Select the Dependency Form<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Select the PTW (Permit to Work) section.<\/li>\n
      • Then, choose the Dependency form from the available options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Select the Project<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Choose the specific project you want to set up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Copy Template from Master Data<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Click the button labeled “Copy Template from Master Data.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Select the Necessary Template<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • Choose the template required for your project setup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Example: Preparing for the Permit to Work Demolition<\/strong>\n

              • Forms needed for a demolition project might include:\n
                  \n
                • LOA (Letter of Approval)<\/li>\n
                • Safe Work Procedure<\/li>\n
                • Risk and Impact Assessment<\/li>\n
                • Toolbox Meeting<\/li>\n
                • Demolition Checklist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • Go Back to the Project Setup<\/strong>\n

                  • Return to the Project Setup menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                  • Choose the PTW Section and Select the PTW Form<\/strong>\n
                      \n
                    • Select the PTW section again.<\/li>\n
                    • Choose the PTW form from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                    • Select the Project Again<\/strong>\n
                        \n
                      • Choose the same project you selected previously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                      • Copy Template from Master Data<\/strong>\n
                          \n
                        • Click the “Copy Template from Master Data” button again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                        • Return to the Project Setup Menu<\/strong>\n
                            \n
                          • Go back to the Project Setup menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                          • Choose the PTW Section and Select the Master Plan<\/strong>\n
                              \n
                            • Select the PTW section once more.<\/li>\n
                            • Choose the Master Plan option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                            • Select the Project to Set Up<\/strong>\n
                                \n
                              • Select the same project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                              • Register a New Master Plan<\/strong>\n
                                  \n
                                • Click the plus (+) button to register a new master plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                • Select the Main Form<\/strong>\n
                                    \n
                                  • Choose the main form for the master plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                  • Set the Days for the PTW Main Form<\/strong>\n
                                      \n
                                    • Specify the number of days for the PTW Main Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                    • Assign Users According to the Flow Order<\/strong>\n
                                        \n
                                      • Choose the users who will be involved in the PTW process according to the flow order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                      • Day-by-Day Setup<\/strong>\n
                                          \n
                                        • Day 1:<\/strong> Applicant, Assessment, and Approval.<\/li>\n
                                        • Day 2:<\/strong> Applicant day 2 and Assessment day 2.<\/li>\n
                                        • Day 3:<\/strong> Applicant day 3 and Assessment day 3.<\/li>\n
                                        • Continue this pattern until Day 7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                        • Complete the Setup<\/strong>\n
                                            \n
                                          • To complete the setup, choose “Compliant.”<\/li>\n
                                          • Click “Save.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                          • Create the Master Plan<\/strong>\n
                                              \n
                                            • The master plan is now created. Next, click the three-dot button and choose “Dependencies.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                            • Register a New Master Plan<\/strong>\n
                                                \n
                                              • Click the plus (+) button to register a new master plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                              • Specify Details for the PTW<\/strong>\n
                                                  \n
                                                • For Type of PTW, choose “Demolition.”<\/li>\n
                                                • For Form Type, select “Checklist.”<\/li>\n
                                                • For Dependency Form, choose “Demolition Operation Checklist.”<\/li>\n
                                                • For Type, select “Daily.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                                • Save the Setup<\/strong>\n
                                                    \n
                                                  • Click “Save.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                                                  • PTW Setup Completed<\/strong>\n
                                                      \n
                                                    • The setup for PTW is now complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
