You are also required to implement an FPP if your\u00a0<strong>factory<\/strong>:<\/p><ul><li>Manufactures or processes petroleum and petrochemicals, and their products;<\/li><li>Manufactures chlorine, fluorine, hydrogen fluoride or carbon monoxide;<\/li><li>Manufactures synthetic polymers;<\/li><li>Manufactures pharmaceutical products or their intermediates;<\/li><li>Manufactures semiconductor wafers; or<\/li><li>Employs 50 or more people.<\/li><\/ul><p>Your FPP should include (but not limited to) the following components:<\/p><ul><li>Fall prevention policy;<\/li><li>Responsibilities;<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wsh-peer.com\/en\/risk-management-explained-strategies-examples-and-best-practices\/\">Risk management<\/a><\/span> and control measures;<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wsh-peer.com\/en\/project\/safe-work-procedure\/\">Safe work procedures<\/a><\/span>;<\/li><li>Use of personal protective equipment;<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wsh-peer.com\/inspections\/\">Inspection<\/a><\/span> and maintenance;<\/li><li>Training;<\/li><li>Incident investigation; and<\/li><li>Emergency response.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-089dcb7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"089dcb7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Permit-to-Work System<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7161d8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7161d8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" href=\"https:\/\/wsh-peer.com\/e-permit-to-work\/\">permit-to-work<\/a><\/span> (PTW) system is a necessary documented process to be implemented for hazardous WAH where employees could fall more than 3 metres either from an elevated site or into a depth.<\/p><p>You must have a PTW system for hazardous WAH if your workplace is a factory as defined under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mom.gov.sg\/workplace-safety-and-health\/workplace-safety-and-health-act#workplaces\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Workplace Safety and Health <\/a>or check also
